Grade 2 Ballet
Ballet is a form of art, and it's also really good exercise. Dancers use their whole bodies as well as their minds when they perform this demanding type of dance; it enhances strength, flexibility and gracefulness in equal measure from both the dancer's body and mind while executing complex moves.
Benefits of ballet dancing include improved balance, enhanced memory, developed artistry and improved use of turnout. Ballet dancers also find that the discipline of ballet requires them to focus when they are not dancing.
Some of the moves taught in our Grade 2 Ballet class include soubresaut, fondu, and triple run.
Ballet is a wonderful form of exercise for all ages. Ballet classes are offered at many levels so if your child wants to learn something new, this class is perfect!
